Source hierarchy

For health, nutrition, housing measurements, biosecurity, and food safety, we prioritize university extension programs, veterinary manuals, government agriculture agencies, and product labels. Material sources are listed at the end of each guide.

What a review checks

A review checks whether each measurable claim is supported, whether the recommendation still matches its source, whether internal and external links work, and whether warning signs clearly direct readers to professional care. We also test every published route, image, page fragment, and navigation link before deployment.

Field notes receive source lists when they rely on health, behavior, biosecurity, incubation, or production guidance. Personal standards remain labeled as first-person decisions rather than universal rules.

First-hand observations

A field note may describe how a problem presented in one flock, but that observation is not treated as universal evidence. CoopSage does not use invented anecdotes, anonymous expert claims, or unsupported treatment instructions.

Review and corrections
